Roo go was founded by a nurse and a mom of 4 young kids. She was constantly on the go and that meant the stroller and bike was an essential part of her everyday movements. But what does every parent need to enjoy their grocery store trips, the park times and travel around the city with kid… Caffeine! Hitting up the cute local coffee shops, Starbuck’s or just bringing a cup of coffee/caffeinated beverage to go with you is the life blood of every tired and hard-working parent.
However, all the products (we tried many) on the market were not able to hold a hot or cold drink, without rattling, tilting, slipping, bouncing and spilling on all the bumps of travel. This led to many spills, and frustrated cleanups (not even mentioning how hard these products were too clean). Eventually leading to the drink being held annoyingly in one hand and the cupholders, unused for their purpose and jammed full of other products. Also, these “universal” products were too small to hold the large water bottles that are a must on every outing!
Brittany knew that there had to be a product that could solve this problem, while also being stylish, easy to clean, and high quality. However, there was not, and the current products were flimsy fabric, tipsy, hard to access or like bulky cargo backpacks.
On a drive home from a road trip, as she discussed her dissatisfaction, she knew that if she was having this problem their many others having the same. Her husband, an engineer, knew that he could solve her problem, and that this solution could be used for many other applications and users (golf carts, wheelchairs, scooters and many more). After many months of real-world testing, and spilled coffees along the way, we knew that we had developed the best product on the market.
What started with the creation of the silicone caddy and anti-spill cup holder, has evolved into an entire line of amazing products.
